I read an article somewhere that explained what the Summer Solstice was all about.  Astrologically, it has a lot to do with planets and the sun and energies aligning, and it started yesterday at 10:33pm PDT to be exact.  However, aside from the scientific and astrological explanations, most of us celebrated the official beginning of summer today!
