Like animated films? Cute Canadian critters? 3-D? You’re in luck. The Canadian Tourism Commission (CTC) has teamed up with Lionsgate Family Entertainment, Parks Canada and Alberta’s Tourism Jasper to promote “Alpha and Omega.” The movie opens in Canada Sept. 17.

The new 3-D animated family movie centres on two young Canadian wolves who get kidnapped and need each other to find their way home to Jasper. To mark the occasion, tomorrow (Sept. 11) the commission and its partners are putting on a pet celebration day in 10 major US cities. The promo encourages folks to adopt an animal from local shelters, then register for the chance to win a family trip for four to Jasper National Park.
