Water story! Canadian Rockies river runs red.

No, it’s not the conclusion of some apocalyptic biblical prophecy. Think natural phenomenon instead.

A recent AOL Travel report tells how heavy rain blasted red sediment off nearby rocks to turn the fast-running waters of Cameron Falls, AB, into a ruby cascade. Luckily for us, a Canadian couple were on hand to take pictures (though they had to wait a while for the jackpot). Thankfully, it was not followed by a plague of locusts or frogs.

It’s just another example of the wonders of nature that Canada produces.
