If you’ve got a passion for art—and sleep isn’t an issue—then Toronto, ON, is the place to be this weekend. From sunset on Saturday, Oct. 2 until sunrise the following morning, the fifth iteration of the Scotiabank Nuit Blanche spreads its cultured wings across Canada’s Big Apple.
Nuit Blanche (“White Night”) celebrates contemporary artists in every discipline at 130 spots around T.O. The usual suspects—galleries and museums—are throwing open the doors, but you’ll able to clock some art in unlikely places, too, such as alleyways and building facades.
Nuit Blanche splits the city into three zones, each with a different theme. Visitors can also receive clues to hunt for this year’s secret art project. If you have a smartphone, you can log into the official website to get your special Night Navigator App.
After the big event, send us your stories and pictures—after a good night’s sleep, of course.
