Epicureans unite, nosh, imbibe at Whistler, BC’s Cornucopia.

by Michelle Pentz Glave

And it isn’t even the holidays yet! That’s right, Whistler, BC’s Cornucopia is four entire days of decadent eating, drinking and general merry making. A “premier wine and food extravaganza” is how this alpine resort town describes its 14th foodie shindig, this year Nov. 11 to 14. Rub elbows with star chefs, tuck into five-star cuisine and wine pairings, chat up sommeliers, vintners, restaurateurs. There are also seminars, winemaker dinners, tasting events, parties... you get the picture.

And the not-to-be-missed events, according to Tourism Whistler, are:
Big Guns Winemaker Dinner at Araxi;
Casino Royale at Ric’s Grill;
Viking Series Stage in the Grand Foyer of the Whistler Conference Centre;
Crush! Gala Grand Tasting.
