The chances of your next winter conference being held at the powder Mecca of Kimberley, BC, just got better. With completion of the new Kimberley Conference & Athlete Training Centre, the 2,230 sq m (24,000 sq ft), six-million-dollar facility became the largest in eastern British Columbia. The 500-person meeting space is within metres of the nearest ski lift at Kimberley Alpine Resort. Slipping in a few runs between workshops is now a distinct possibility. (The athletic facilities include change rooms, as well as a fitness centre and wax room.)

The ski hill in Kimberley, with its 750 m (2,460 ft) of vertical and 1,800 acres of terrain, is known for having one of the largest gladed ski areas in North America, as well as one of the longest night-skiing runs.

Conference by day, ski (and après-ski) by night. Kind of like the perfect duality of a mullet haircut (“business in the front, party in the back”).
