Donna Morrissey is the author of three award-winning novels, Kit’s Law, Downhill Chance and Sylvanus Now, which won the Thomas Head Raddall Atlantic Fiction award and was shortlisted for the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize for the Carribbean and Canada region. Her screenplay, Clothesline Patch, won a Gemini Award. Morrissey grew up in the Beaches, a small fishing outport in Newfoundland and Labrador, and now lives in Halifax, NS.
