John B. Lee is a full-time author. In 2005, he was inducted as Poet Laureate of Brantford in perpetuity. A recipient of more than 60 prestigious international awards for his writing, Lee is winner of the CBC Literary Award for Poetry, the only two-time recipient of the People’s Poetry Award and 2006 winner of the inaugural Souwesto Writing Award. He has published 40 titles to date and is the editor of six anthologies, including That Sign of Perfection: poems and stories on the game of hockey and Smaller Than God: words of spiritual longing.
