Mat Loup is the CTC's senior writer. Prior to emigrating to Canada from the UK in 2007, Loup spent 15 years at The Sunday Times in London as a reporter and editor on all sections apart from Business. He also did freelance TV writing for The Times and contributed regularly to several football (soccer) magazines. Loup is now happily settled on these shores in Vancouver, BC. He has done a stint at the Georgia Straight as online editor, while his work has also appeared in The Daily Telegraph, Business in Vancouver and on the walls of the Vancouver Art Gallery. Married with two kids, he can be found most weekends playing, coaching or simply watching football.
